For those who have been following my new career critiquing the reliability of wine competitions, there is a new book out, A Toast to Bargain Wines, by George Taber, who writes about my work.  Chapter 4 is titled, “Are Gold Medals Worth Anything?

George is a rather famous author with his first book describing the 1976 Paris Tasting where the Americans topped the French.  His second book, To Cork or not to Cork, is a well documented tale describing the drama of Cork Taint.
